Freedom a la Cart, previously known as DOMA Connection, is a unique organization offering “cause cuisine” – combining support services and employment opportunities for victims of human trafficking. Doma – Freedom’s predecessor – purchased a food cart as a work force training tool for survivors of sex trafficking. This gave survivors valuable work experience and a means for self-sufficiency: in short, a way out. They grew to provide box lunches and catering services with fresh, local ingredients.

The most delicious way to help Freedom a la Cart is to order a box lunch; they cost $10-11, and require 48 hours advance notice. Or, order from their catering menu; most plans serve 10-25. You can volunteer to help provide transportation and items of need, help with fundraising and events, or prepare/purchase lunch for 40 ladies of CATCH Court.
